They're reliable, workhorse machines, and they compete well for the money in terms of performance & reliability.

So this is a one touch, automatic bean to cup coffee machine, with a cappuccinatore frother, the kind of milk frother with a pipe that you just shove in your milk bottle/carton.
These kinds of frothers are convenient from the perspective that you don't need to wash out milk carafe, you can just run a cleaning cycle after each coffee to keep it clean, or simply put the milk pipe into a jug of water, and run a milk frothing cycle.
In terms of one touch coffees, it'll do the more obvious espresso, latte & cappuccino, and in case you're not familiar with the others:
Cafe Creme.
This is often just labelled as "coffee" on bean to cup machines, and it's a very long lungo, essentially.
A lungo is a big ratio espresso, for example three to four times the espresso vs weight of the ground coffee beans. Cafe Creme is even longer, usually more like 1:4 - 1:6, and it's usually made with a more coarse ground coffee, too.
So if you've been making espresso based drinks, and you're switching to "coffee" or Cafe Creme, you might want to make the grind a bit coarser.
Espresso Macchiato.
In case you're not sure on this one, it's espresso "marked" or "stained" with a small amount of milk.
Latte Macchiato.
Upside down latte, basically. A latte made by pulling espresso into frothed milk, instead of pouring frothed milk into espresso.
If you're looking for a reasonably priced, simple to use & reliable automatic one touch bean to cup machine, I think the Siemens EQ6 S300 is well worth adding to your shortlist.
There's a massive amount of choice these days for bean to cup coffee machines, though. For more, see:
