A punchy yet balanced coffee with lots of rich milk and dark chocolate notes, really sings as the base for milkies.

This is a lovely, smooth and chocolatey blend of Brazilian Santos Arabica, Ethiopian Djimmah Arabica and Indian Cherry Robusta coffee beans.

The result of this blend is a bold but balanced and smooth coffee, perfect as a house espresso blend, and as a lovely easy drinking cafetiere or stove top coffee. Also great for espresso-style coffee via Aeropress, using the standard non-inverted method.

How it Tastes

Although this is a classic Italian blend in terms of the mix of Arabica and Robusta, the mix of processing methods, and the medium/dark roast profile, lead to a punchy yet smooth and balanced espresso which has lots of milk chocolate and dark chocolate notes that are really enhanced with milk.

I can drink this all day long, and I usually do ;-). This is what I class as my "house espresso" blend, and I usually have several Kilos of this in the studio. It's very enjoyable, for the balance is just right, and the fact that it's inexpensive doesn't hurt, either!

Brazil Ethiopia & India

This is a blend of carefully chosen high quality coffees including Brazilian Santos Arabica, Ethiopian Djimmah Arabica and Indian Cherry Robusta.

The thoughtful blending & roasting of these beans produces a delectable, punchy yet luxurious rich, chocolatey coffee that is very forgiving for espresso, and works amazingly for milkies.

Good coffee

I liked it , it’s not knock out but I have ordered another bag of it has my machine is dialled into it .
It’s a new De’Longhi Opera so a new machine for me, had a Sage barista before different machine so having to get used to it and don’t want to swop and change beans until I get used to it

Feels like there must be a catch

To be very close to mid range supermarket beans in cost but perform this well is unreal. Great beans for those learning to dial in as has a great tolerance while still delivering balance and clarity. I'd say they deliver a more medium roast in profil than its colour and the chocolate notes are deep and rich without being bitter like....welll.....a chocolate brownie. Make a point of moving around roasters as there are so many cool roasters and seemingly unlimited blend potential but re-ordered this one and will now always keep some in the store. (obviously vacuum sealed for freshness as a bonefide coffee w**ker. Admitting it half the battle no? Or is that something else?) Anyway, heartedly recommend as I have done to many friends and family. If only there was some sort of recommendation code to keep my mouse purchase finger greased. ;)
